She walked in through the door, strolled the aisles eyeing the vegetables, and left inside a shopping trolley. The video went round the country.
In February 2026 a capybara walked into a supermarket in Rio Branco, in Acre. She crossed the shop floor with the calm of someone who shops there every week, stopped at the fruit and vegetable section, and was carefully carried out, settled into a trolley. The internet decided she was “the customer”.
The scene is funny and says something serious: in many Brazilian cities the wild ends at the kerb. If there is a river behind the car park, the capybara will come through. In this game the market is “the market” — no brand, nobody identifiable, because the joke belongs to the situation and not to real people.
In the game
Eat as many vegetables as you can along the aisles and get out before the guard arrives with the trolley. If he does, you leave riding in it: a comic end to the level, not a tragedy.
